Tenth Hour project is based in Southern New Mexico, in the city of Las Cruces. With breathtaking views, this arid desert offers an oasis of serenity. This is the perfect setting to come away from the noise of the world and learn to listen for God's voice.

Your time spent in Las Cruces, New Mexico will consist of Biblical studies, community outreach, and various service opportunities.

While you are being trained for life on mission, accommodation will be provided to you free of charge. Pastor Dave and his wife Deanna will host your mission team in their beautiful, spacious home, a 10 acre property previously operated as a bed and breakfast. As their guest, you will feel comfortable, welcomed and well cared for as you and your fellow missionaries dedicate this season of your life to seeking Jesus with all your heart. Outside of study time, the outdoor spaces on the ranch will be well loved by as you find a quiet place to read, pray, relax or enjoy a an awe-inspiring sunset, or an evening of stargazing. This inviting home  has been purposeful in it’s design to foster a sense of community and fellowship; a place where we desire to see our mission teams  spend time in spontaneous worship and corporate prayer.

Daily biblical studies will be held at various locations throughout the city, such as our routine classes held at Calvary Chapel Three Crosses. Days off from Biblical Studies can be spent in town. Las Cruces, "The City of the Crosses," is the second largest city in New Mexico, but with a population of less than 105,000, it still has a small town feel. Known for its friendliness, this town is the home of New Mexico State University. It is also a very large retirement community, bringing an age-diversity to this already culturally diverse area.

During the first three months, there are many adventures to be had as we spend days exploring the surrounding area together, including: hiking the trails and exploring the ruins found in our own back yard, the Organ Mountains, sledding the dunes of White Sands National Monument, navigating the depths of Carlsbad Caverns, and many other great day-trips.
